4th of July Weekend 2010

We had a busy 4th of July weekend. Friday we started out with Olivia's 1st official HAIR CUT! At first she cried but with some M&Ms and once she saw what Haley was doing, she was fine. her hair looks so much it is amazing! After that we ventured to Lima... I am in a Mom's group and found a playhouse for-sale that we were going to look at. Once we arrived, the house was very nice, the people were super nice and of course we loved the house. Needed some TLC but all the bones were there and Aaron has already done so much to it. That night we hung out at the shop, Olivia washed her Gator and Aaron and I worked on her playset. Saturday came and we worked on her playhouse, swingset, washed mom's car and even swam a little. That afternoon Aaron got her set done and she loved it!!! We couldn't get her to come insdie for supper... ha ha! That night we did a bonfire and just enjoyed the beautiful sky and night. Olivia did sparklers this year and LOVED them! She and I ran around in circles... and she kept saying "tinkerbells"... it was really cute. Sunday we did more inside...it was hot. But once again she spent most of her time on her playset that Aaron re-did. It was the twins and now that they've out grown it, Chris offered it to us, and it is perfect for her!

Olivia...aka Snow White

Nana got to watch Olivia while Aaron and I worked... she had the day off and you can see Olivia came home all kinds of new goodies! Nana got her a New Snow White costume Dress.... and a New Princess set that I've been looking at, Cinderella with her Prince, changes of clothes and her coach. Olivia loves it and plays with these 2 things all the time. She wears Snow White non-stop. I love her tan lines in the pictures with no shirt!

Owens Car Show - Father's Day Weekend

I brought the bug and Dad brought his '55! We had a great day together and boy was the weather hot... I left with burnt feet, always worth it!!

Random dip in the pool....

It was an evening spent with my parents and the twins. A lot of times when we get bored we venture their way... Aaron chit chats with my dad and my mom and I usually ooh and ahh over Olivia and her hundreds of stories, facial expressions and silly self. It was hot, the twins had done water gun fights and mom mentioned coming to our place for a dip in our pool...the water was COLD as we just filled it a week or 2 prior. They were troopers and then later zoomed around the yard on Aaron's 4-wheeler. Olivia loves the pool and has now taken to her "froggie"...swimmies that are like a life jacket that come across her chest and then around her arms. She is able to kick her legs all over the pool to get her toys. It is nice because Aaron and I are able to enjoy the water too.... and she is able to come to us when she wants... next year we'll do swim lessons.

First Bonfire of the Season

June 4th marked our first Bonfire...full of running through the yard and SMORES! Olivia loved the chocolate of course... I am so behind on posting!

This was a Sunday...we took a sheet, snack and the dogs outside...sat in the shade and enjoyed the weather! I love Olivia's hair like this... I do it like this a lot.

Fun @ Nana & Papa's

Another random night with my parents, Travis, Amanda and Devin. Squirt guns were a big hit and later after supper we enjoyed ice cream on their front porch. Olivia just loves Papa & Nana and usually doesn't take much talking her into going there... when Aaron works nights or even days we go t here a lot... just to get out of hte house and enjoy some adult conversation.

Olivia's Final Day at Loving Care Daycare

Thursday July 1st marked Olivia's last days at Loving Care Daycare & Preschool. I was a mess the whole week and that morning we brought in Sue Christman Cupcakes to share. I couldn't even talk when I dropped her off, I was crying. I left my Nikon with Miss Michelle (pictured) to take pictures of Olivia through out the day and it was the best thing I could have done... she got some fantastic pictures and to be honest made me cry even more when I saw how much Olivia loved it there... the hugs, games, outside play and her napping...just broke my heart. When I went to pick her up, all the teachers had hugs and positive words for her and I and I just cried like a baby. I wish we could stay there, but of course, we just can't do it right now. I will always recommend that facility to anyone and who knows...maybe someday we'll be back :)
