It's Official

Well I just dropped Olivia's 1st birthday invites in the mail here at work. I bought some cute disney stamps and dropped them when I got back from lunch. I made them myself on the pc at home. Any chance Olivia gave me to get these done I took it; naps, playing, or even after she went to bed for the night.
We decided to just our immediate family for her 1st birthday... because this is our 1st birthday party for us too. Next year we will probably do friends and family.

Pumpkin Patch

Today at 1:20 we left for Suter's Pumpkin Patch in Pandora. When we got there I was dissapointed that they didn't have a "patch" to walk through. So I asked. Here they have a wagon ride on the hour out to the patch and through the woods where they tell stories of the woods and Riley River that flows through it. The next ride as 2 pm. We couldn't have had made better timing. On the wagon we go and we sat on bails of hay and off we go! He had puppets for the woods; raccoon, owl, squirrel, fox, deer and more. And puppets for the river animals; turtle, fish and bullfrog. Olivia would just watch him tell the stories. Then over the hill to the pumpkin patch. Thousands of pumpkins, squash and guards. This is the my all time favorite family day yet. The weather was perfect and I got to have my husband and daughter with me.

MY FAVORITE DAY YET!!

These were so cute!! Horses made from pumpkins, the hair was yarn and the bodies were barrels covered with potato bags.
Olivia is soo Big!

Tuckered out on the way home....
.... way tuckered out!

Aaron, Myself and Olivia (holding her little squash) smiling big!

Olivia coudlnt' look up, the sun was too bright! But look at all our pumpkins~!

She was afraid to touch them at first!!

The never ending pumpkin patch.... so many to choose from! The biggest pumpkin are only $4.00 and the smallest are $1.00.
The wagons we rode on.
Dad was excited to pick up a big one!!
Olivia didn't know what to think!
"I'll take this one daddy!"

This is Olivia watching Mr. Suter tell stories with puppets. She even snuck in a kiss to mom!

Re-Arrange

When we lowerd Olivia's mattress I moved her crib around. Well I liked it better the way I had it the first time and I think having her closer to the door that part of the room will be warmer. Unfortunately her room is the warmest in the summer and the coldest in the winter. Last year she was sleeping in our room for the first 6 weeks of her life and I was able to keep her swaddled. Now she is kicking off blankets, taking off socks and all over her crib. I hope her room stays warm enough!

Good Morning Puppies!

We've been putting up this baby gate between the dining room and the kitchen. Olivia likes to go over there and almost tease the dogs. We sometimes keep them on the other side for a break. I love these pjs.... on the front they have a big apple and says "You are the apple of my eye". Too cute!

Our New Toy!

Olivia is now walking with a walking toy. It is so funny to see her do this, her thighs are so chunky and she makes big steps when she does it too. I tried to get pictures of her doing it but as soon as she sees me get the camera she gets down and crawls to me. I will post pics of her doing it soon.

Rosanne bought her this from Once Upon a Child for Olivia's birthday! We are having her party on November 8th and I will have invites out this week. I made them myself and saved myself a lot of money... I wanted bee invites and they all cost a lot of money online so I found I liked and kinda made it myself.

Olivia pulls herself up with no problem now. Can stand while holding on with one hand, and for a a second or two can stand with out holding on. She also walks with the toy and then hands off to the end table or coffee table with no problem. Yesterday I put goldfish around the coffee table and she did a wonderful job walking around the table to get her snack. She is doing great and I think will be walking in a month to 6 weeks.

Our Morning....

Here is a picture of Olivia this morning after we pulled into daycare! I also took a picture of the daycare from the outside so you can all see what it looks like. They lease this from the church. It is very nice inside, it was flooded last August so everything is brand new! Today the girls had to show me that Olivia is now walking with the push toys...I've been meaning to get her some of these and now tomorrow I HAVE TO!!

I've got you Fisher.... now just stay still!

Last night we caught Olivia getting Fisher's chains... or as we call his "pretties". Fisher for themost time just lays there and takes it.... she is starting to climb over things now... if we are laying on the floor with her, she climbs over our legs, back and now Fisher. Everything needs to be challenging to her.... it is fun to watch her learn and try new things.

Halloween PJs

I got these pjs from Kohls and they are a little too big for her... I've been buying some clothes in 24 month sizes.... just in case. I thought these pjs would shrink too... but they didn't. I have to hike them up on her belly sometimes...she looks like a goof. The top says "I've Got You Under My Spell". I love Halloween and the fall... my absolute favorite!

Long walk and a stop at the park!!

Tonight I did a long walk, to work off some anger. I have a lot on my mind and the walk does help. Olivia loves them too. She does so well on them... doesn't make a peep and tonight we walked for almost 2 hours and she didn't sleep at all... I was surprised!

We walked through the Buckeye Park and stopped at the swings... this picture is from my cell phone. She absolutely loved them... I'd play with her toes or try and grab her legs and she would laugh so hard!!

1 Year Pictures Scheduled!

I have Olivia's 1 year pictures scheduled with Forget Me Not Photography in Bluffton. Jan did our wedding pictures and Aaron and I agreed that we would wait for her for Olivia's 1 year set. We are also going to do some family portraits too. I am praying for great weather and beautiful fall leaves!

October 24th at 3:00 pm!

All Clear!

Olivia DOES NOT have pink eye!! She is having more reactions to her ear infection that she started with 2 weeks ago. The previous Rx didn't help so she is now on another rx to hopefully clear it all up! She has a 3 week appt to make sure it goes away this time. Aaron and Olivia both came into work and surprised me with lunch.... it was such a nice visit.... makes my day so much better to see the 2 people I love the most!

Waiting for the Call...

Aaron took Olivia to the doctor today... she woke up today with a green matted shut right eye. I am praying that it is not pink eye. Daycare had a spell of it last week and I was hoping Olivia didn't get it. I am waiting on his call to hear the results.

Reading her books....

Every night we read the same books.... Goodnight Moon, The Wiggles Have a Party, Find Elmo's Blanket, and I Love You Because You're You!. She knows when I sit down with her books that we are going to have quiet time and read all our books. Sometimes she gives the pages kisses.... it is cute! I think her absolute favorite is Goodnight Moon. I can start reading that and she'll come crawling right over and sit in my lap and listen. I should have it memorized.... ha ah!!

Pheobe's Surgery

Thursday Pheobe had a lump removed from her neck area. My friend Melissa did it for us. She has performed almost all our dogs procedures. She practices in Findlay and I believe she is worth the drive! Anyways, she had the lump removed Thursday and it is just now starting to look like it is healing. Up until today it has been moist and a little bit of seeping. She gets a pain pill every 12 hours and about half way through that she is knocked out for most of the day. Pheobe seems to be in good spirits and her normal self for the most part!
