Hide-n-Go-Seek

Today was my 4 month appt with Dr. Schutz. Aaron came with me and got to meet him... he loves him! He is soo down to earth and the way he explains things is soo in "english". I got on the scale, and have lost 1 pound since my last appt. WOO HOO. I want to really watch what I eat and make sure I stay away from over indulging myself just to do it because they say you can when pregnant... no they don't. You are to watch what you eat and gain a max of 35 pounds. All depending on your bone structure.

He explained what I should experience in the 2nd trimester and I had informed him that it had been 1 week since I last got sick and I am not as hungry I usually am... and he said that is all normal and that when a mom is sick with "morning" sickness it usually points to a healthier start to the babies developing little body. I said that it is all worth it and also glad that it might be over (the sickness part). I know it is said to come back in the 3rd and final trimester.

He put the doppler on my belly to try and find the babies heart beat.

GOT IT!! Finally, I was crying a little... I was scared. But Dr. Schutz said that it is normal that he couldn't find it right away. The babies heartbeat was strong and perfect he said... it was at 150 today. It was such a relief to hear this little guys heartbeat...I told Aaron that it is already playing hide and seek and I didn't like it today. Dr. Schutz said the baby is right next to a major artery that is why it took him a while. He kept re-asuring me that no matter if it was with the doppler or the ultrasound he would find that little heartbeat. He also said that I am measuring up to term and I will return June 19th.

Tooth Fairy, Leave Me Some Money!!

Ryley has now lost 2 teeth!! He as soo proud to show Aaron and I Friday night is was soo cute!! It was nice to talk with them and hang out with my big sister!! She has new furniture which is soo rich and tasteful. She showed me these teacher gifts she made for the boys' teachers and they are soo freakin' cute!! I wish I had half the creativity that she has.

Thank you wal-mart bag...

Well tonight on my way home from work I got to 613 and had to turn on Rd 4... I threw up in my wal-mart bag along with my tupperware from lunch. I have never felt that way before. Thank god I had one in the car and thank god there was no one around to see me do it. Immediately I started crying and had to call my mom to help get me home and stop crying. I came home and showered and now feel just fine... it is amazing.

Baby gus is not an evening baby... come 3:30 pm I am sick and can't think of food and feel like I am starving... it is weird.

Well anyways... thought I'd share my interested ride home tonight.

Go Bucks!!

Nana and Papa got me this for mother's day. So she says, I am sure I would have gotten it either way... but it was nice to hear that from them... "Happy Mother's Day". Aaron got me a cute card for the "Mom to Be"... and signed it from Aaron, Baby Gus, Fisher & Phoebe. Cute and very thoughtful! I love this little outfit that mom and dad got us. It is for up to 13 lbs and I was thinking that it might be a good contender for hte hospital picture if a boy. I really home Baby Gus isn't 13 lbs when born but we might be able to tuck behind him if a little too big. GO BUCKS!

Aaron's New Hobby!

Aaron was asked to put together a wishing well for a friend at work, and this is the excellent job he did!! Aaron amazes me more and more every time he does a new wood project. This summer I have so many projects it is ridiculous! New front steps, door jams, adarandak chairs, close line and more stuff inside the house.... he'll be busy. Need less to say I will have hime knowing how to build everything by the time Baby Gus comes.

Look what I found...

Cleaning up my scrapbooking/ Computer room I came across all these boxes of old photos. I look at these and wonder what our baby will look like? My mom looks sooo tired in my birth picture. I know they had to sedate her because I was taking so long... and she woke up and had another baby girl. I was Jane Doe for 3 days until she named me. She says she always wanted a baby boy named Shane, and if a girl she wanted Heather. Dad thought Heather was a dogs name..WHAT?? I know a lot of Heathers.. But she chose Kelly Rae! Mom says that when she was pregnant with Travis that she thought she better change her boy name or she might get another girl... and of course we have Travis... which he never uses, he goes by Chuck.





Me and my big sis Robin. I see this picture and see Hunter & Ryley so much. It is amazing how they both take after her. We always thought Ryley was more Chris, and I will have to disagree as I come across pictures of us when we were young... her boys are soo handsome... she did a great job!

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there. I guess this post does have a lot to do with two moms... My mom and Robin... I love you guys! HAPPY DAY TO YOU TWO!! YOU DESERVE IT ALL!! Next year... we should all go out for dinner or breakfast together!!!

Baby Gus' Wardrobe Expansion

Nana has purchased more outfits for the baby. They are all so adorable and I love them!! The one is going to be the baby's coming home from the hosptial outfit!! I can't wait to have "it" all bundled up and ready to come home. The baby's wardrobe is expanding weekly and I find myself standing in the closet just looking at them all... thinking of my little one in these cute outfits!! I CAN'T WAIT!!

26 Candles

Well today I am 26 years old! Last year at this time Aaron and I picked up our new Equinox and that was my birthday present!! This year the husband has gotten me cable internet. I can't wait to be able to post more pictures and be able to email friends back more... Alicia, Melissa, & Elan... I never get the chance to email them like I would like to.

Tonight Aaron is cooking me spaghetti, garlic bread and yes a cake!! We'll see how much he can multi task. I am sure I will have to take over... I have my way of doing things in the kitchen and sometimes it drives me crazy when I see him do something one way and I do it another way.. ha ah!! I am sure he'll tell me to leave the room like 5 times... ha ha!

Mom & Dad got me my Willow Tree Lane figure, she is pregnant. And a really nice wreath, more summer and spring but beautiful! They also pitched in on my maternity clothes... so I appreciate that so much!!

Well hope everyone has a great day, I am at work, just ate lunch and sucking on a candycane... it helps with the sick feeling. They are great!

The Progress

I am anxious to start to show. I want to be able to feel my belly and feel this baby growing inside of me. I was excited to see this picture on babycenter.com for my 11 th week. The baby is tucked back in safe keeping until it gets bigger. Sunday Mom and I went shopping for maternity clothes, and I got a lot!! I think I am off to a good start and maybe a few more tops along the way. I got a lot of summer/ spring clothes, and I know when October gets here and I am getting way big, I will pry looking into more pants and a few cardigans. Needless to say I am anxious to feel some progress from Baby Gus... I don't want to fast forward becauase I am looking forward to every day experiencing something new and telling someone new that Aaron and I are expecting our first baby...

I'd like to get moved into our master bedroom soon. I'd like to get that front bedroom painted and say it is done. I'd also like to re-paint our front computer room. It is a pumpkin color which I like, but I think it is too dark for the room and I am thinking of more of a slate blue. We'll see, because Aaron will be painting, not me :) ha ah!!
