The Prettiest Girl @ The Parade

We had our Memorial Day Parade Monday morning at 10 am. I put Olivia in red, white, and blue and she looked so DARN cute!!! I just couldn't stop kissing her and just couldn't believe that I am so blessed with this great tempered... cute... and perfect little girl!! Grandma Rosie and Papa loved her outfit too. She even got a flower for Papa's neighbor Jake.... too cute!!

Jake's mom Jacie and I have their wedding planned... ha ha!! Jake looks just like his mommy and is always so darn cute~!!

Later that day we walked and then sat outside on the front porch and just enjoyed the day.

Our New Game

I have been putting Olivia's paci in a cup and she has been just amazed on how to get it out. I sometimes put a lid on it and she just stares at the cup like "HOW DO I GET IT OUT?" It is cheap entertainment for me and a great learning game for her!

Good Morning Mommy!!

This was Olivia Monday morning.... she has pink rosey cheeks and a big smile when I came to her bed to get her. She was singing in her crib... it came through so cute in her monitor.

She helped me make coffee and get her cereal around for her to eat. She is pretty much like clock work... 7:00 am on the dot she is up. Which is great... I wouldn't want it any earlier. I love her eyes when she just wakes up....sleepy eyes~

Sitting Up

Olivia has been doing a great job at sitting up on her own. I put a pillow behind her or I sit with my legs strattling her and she does great... leans forward for a toy and came right back up and sit. We did her 6 Month Photo Shoot Sunday and she sat on her own the whole time.... I can't wait to get the pictures back... all I am going to say is BIKINI!!! She looked so darn cute! I'll share when I get the disc from Robin!

Olivia does so good at sitting that I think she is able to enjoy bath time more. She can sit in her seat better and reach for toys that float by. She also loves her Bumbo seat more too.... I put her in it when I do laundry or work at the kitchen island. She likes to help her mommy!!

Her teeth are coming in really good and last night when I was done feeding her supper... she was playing wiht my hand and placed my finger in her mouth and bit down... it HURT!!! But her 2 teeth are coming side by side and look very good. She has been doing pretty good with the teething process.... does have her moments... usually diaper rash for a day or a fever off and on. She is getting so big and just moving into each phase of her developing so fast... I just am amazed at each new thing she is able to do!

A visit with the Great-Grandkids

Sunday Olivia and I went over to Robin's house and Ashley and Giavonne came to visit too. Us girls talked and the kids played. Olivia enjoyed the wonderful weather and lounging on Robin's deck. It is soo nice out there. I always enjoy time with family and friends and Ashley and her siblings have been through a lot in their live... more than anyone else should. Giavonne just lost his dad on the 15th due to a car accident and don't know how Ashley is able to do the things she does. She is a very strong girl!

The visit was so nice and enjoyable... conversations of family, boys, money, and work! And of course good ole Gossip!! We are thinking of starting a "Wine & Scrapbook Night"... Interested? Let me know!

Bitter Biscuit

I have been allowing Olivia to chew on these biscuits after her supper. She loves them!! I take them away when they become too small or really slippery in her hands. But boy does she make a big mess!! But it is fun to watch her learn to use her hands and know that she can feed herself.

May 18th - A Visit with Grandma Rosie

Justin Flores' viewing was Sunday and Monday and since Aaron's brother Adam worked with Justin, the kids visited with us while Adam and Kelly went to the viewing. Olivia just loved hanging with Grandma Rosie, Payton and Justice.... they just love her. Rosanne is always fast to bring something new and unique out for Olivia to investigate... this time it was the Radio Flyer ride on and she loved the wheels and tassels on the handles.
