Wagon Ride

We got Olivia's Step 2 Wagon put together and she LOVES it!! We have been pulling her around the house over and over again! She loves to ride in it and see us as she passes by. I think she will ride perfectly for Halloween in it. Today is going to be nice out and I hope we can pull her around outside in it too!

Today is my first Mommy-n-Me Playgroup Meet-n-Greet. It is today at 3 pm and know I have 2 or 3 other moms coming. I have been emailing other groups from Columbus and Toledo and that is how they started and they now have around 30 moms in their group. I am so excited to get this started and really hope it works out!!

Halloween Marshmallow Treats

For dessert after she ate a great amount of her supper I treated Olivia to these marshmallow halloween treats I bought at Wal-Mart. There isn't much for a toddler to get on halloween so I thought that these would be perfect! They have moons, bats and pumpkins in the pack. Maybe 5 or 6 little marsmallows come in each pack. She loved them too... as you can see! After this we went straight to the tub! Goodness!!

Mmmmm Spaghetti!

Last night I made spaghetti for supper. Olivia had already ate by the time I got it done. So tonight we had the left overs for supper again. So I warmed up some, cut it up into small pieces and on the tray it went with some puffs and toast.

She instantly ate the puffs and toast right away... then she saw me sit down with my plate and then started to pick at the spaghetti. She took a bite and it was like she couldn't get enough in her hands and then half of it would fall out before she got her hand to her mouth. It was cute to watch!

Our first Happy Meal!

I didn't know we were going to do McDonalds, otherwise I would have brought my camera.

But after dropping off her rx to Wal-Mart we went to McDonalds. Ottawa has a new one and this is the first time that either of us (Aaron or I) have been inside it. It was really nice and clean. I got Olivia a chicken nugget happy meal.

We sat down and I started breaking up fries into small pieces and she instantly started to shove them in her mouth. I then started with the first of 4 nuggets. She started eating those pieces up too. I thought, "this is great!". We all sat there and ate our lunch together. Olivia would eat some, look around, eat some more, look around, take a drink from her sippy.... look around! You get the point.

In her happy meal she got a barbie.... The Paris one! She didn't know what to think of it at first but I am sure today was the first of many trips to MciD's.

Doctor Appointment

Well today Olivia had her 3 week follow-up with Dr. Houston to see if her ear infection has cleared up or not. This is her 2nd antibiotic she has been on for this ear infection that is just hanging out in there.

And he did really good with Olivia... let her see all the instruments he used. He took a look in her ears and it is STILL there! I just can't believe it. He said one more antibiotic and check back in 3 weeks. This is a crucial time for her language to develop and with this infection hanging out it is hard for her to hear right now. And if we sound muffled that is what she is going to learn. I know I had tubes in my ears when I was young... and he said that if this doesn't work she will need to go to a Ear, Nose & Throat specialist and see if she needs tubes.

Aaron and I both agreed that our stomachs hurt just the thought of our little girl on this big bed going in for surgery... I know they are not going to cut her open or anything but still the thought of her being scared and having to go alone into a room. My stomach hurts thinking of it.

Keep her in your prayers, I really hope this med works and no tubes are even brought up again!

School Lunches

Olivia has now graduated to the school lunches offered by her daycare. I knew this was on its way seeing how I haven't feed Olivia jar food in almost 2 weeks now. I do send them to daycare, and they have been struggling with her, as I have been during lunch on the weekends.

Today they have chicken noodle soup... they put crushed crackers in it to make it mushy and easier for them to eat off of a spoon. Here are some things Olivia will be enjoying...

• Pizza
• Chicken Strips
• Ham Sandwich
• Chicken Nuggets
• French Toast Strips
• Brownie
• Fruit
• Vegetables
• Muffins

It all sounds yummy! There is no extra cost for her lunches with the daycare... they get them from the St Peter & Paul school across the street. I am excited to have her move on to this next stage in her life. They cut everything in tiny pieces for all the kids. I'll let you know how it all goes!

Our friends Ryan & Stephanie had their little boy on Wednesday! A little boy to add to all their pink! I see Miya when I look at this picture!

I am sure big sister's Saleigha and Miya are excited!! Great job guys, we love you and can't wait to come over and visit!!

All Done!

Here is the bucket when the trick-or-treat was done.

And Olivia PASSED OUT on the way home... she was so tired from playing and seeing all the kids. The only nap she had was that 2 hour nap that morning because she got up at 6 am. Too early for her!!! She was crabby the whole morning while I tried to get us ready. But we were driving home around 6:45 pm and we were fighting the sun in our eyes!! Thanks Nana & Papa... we had a great time!

Twizzler

All the kids from campground were trick-or-treating and there wer a lot of cute baby costumes, tigers, bears, cheerleaders, and the cutest of all DUMBO! He was all done up and had these huge ears... too cute! But mom and dad handed out candy and mom asked if Olivia could try a Twizzler.

It wa the peel and eat kind so I just peeled the paper down so far and she was able to get little nubs of the candy... it worked out great and she loved it! Papa loves to try and make her laugh.. it is always a treasured moment to see your parents with your kids.... something I never want to take for granted.

Campground Decor

I took a picture of Nana and Olivia next to her sign with all her halloween decor... and of course one with me too. The entire campground really goes all out for this time of year. Next weekend is the last weekend to camp. When the sun starting going down... it got COLD! This Gap sweatshirt is one of the twins' when they were little... I need to find their picture in it... I know I just saw it as I was going through old pictures a while back and cried a little. But she is getting bigger and wants to do a lot for herself.

Helping Nana at the Campgrounds

Saturday at 9:00 am I dropped Olivia off at the campgrounds. I had a dress fitting with my friend Heather, and soon to be Sister-in-law, and I knew the campgrounds had trick or treat that day at 5 pm. I dropped her off and and she instantly went to Nana... ready for fun! The dress fitting went great and I had a great time getting to know the other girls in the wedding party... Heather and I always find good conversation and things to talk about! When I got back around 2pm... Olivia had taken a 2 hour nap and already ate her cereal and now was ready for some lunch.

Daycare Class Picture - Fall 2008

Check out Olivia... her gut is peaking out the bottom of her shirt. Miss Kara is the new director and we LOVE HER!! She is so awesome, has great ideas and makes a point to wish everyone a good morning and a good night! Miss Kris is our favorite teacher in the nursery!

First Fire of the Season!

Our house is warm and cozy with our first fire of the season. Olivia has done well with not being too interested in it... as you can see the dogs love it!

Another Adorable New Fall Outfit!

Here is another adorable fall outfit that Olivia finally got to wear! I have this in pink (shown) and another one with blue. They were buy 2 for $10 or something like that at Kohls. She plays with Aaron's old cellphone. We are going to see if the charger will still charge it, we think she'd love it even more if it lit up. She now watches her Elmo DVD I bought her for Easter. She hasn't really had much interest in it until here in the last few weeks. When he sings "La la, la la Elmo's World"... she watches him or her... what is Elmo? ha ah!

Happy Go Lucky!

Olivia was so funny Monday night... she was jumping up and down on her ride on toy and Aaron had to hold on to it. These are fleece pj's #2. They have a polar bear in the corner and feet attached. She takes her socks off through the night and her feet get cold. I need to invest in maybe 2 or 3 more pair of these for below zero nights the lovely state of Ohio has.

A Hippy in the Making!

This was the outfit Olivia wore Monday! I thought these courds were just so darn cute on her. They have a huge flare at the bottom with ruffles in the legs. When she would crawl they would slide down on her butt. Daycare said they had to keep hiking them up. She has a little extra room in the waste on these than some of her other pants. Room to grow I guess! I love that the fall weather is upon us and she can start to wear some of her adorable fall clothes that have been waiting in her dresser for months now. Olivia hangs out in the bathroom with me while I get ready. She usually finds her basket of toys for baths or I give her my big mirror and she makes faces or laughs at herself.

Fleece PJs

Here is Olivia wearing her 1 of many pairs of fleece pjs... my mom bought these for her. Her hair was so cute this night because she had this little flippy curl above her ear... too cute! She is also riding around on her new buggy from Grandma Rosie...she can go backward but not forward. When she runs into something she now says "uh oh". I love it! She is learning more and more and I just can't believe that she'll be 1 soon!

Sister's Day
