Moving right along...

1 MONTH
2 MONTHS
3 MONTHS
4 MONTHS
5 MONTHS (in 1 1/2 weeks)
I can't believe that in 1 1/2 weeks we will be 5 months pregnant. HALF way there! Holy shit!! We have so much more we need to get done. I want in our master bedroom so bad and I want to have the nursery painted and just waiting for the furniture. I want a bathroom door, front steps and a clothes line. Do you think I'll ever get these things? In all actuality, we really only have 3 maybe 4 months to get stuff done. In September we go to Gatlinburg for a week and what kind of condition will I be to help come middle of October into November? I have no idea, and I know everyone is different. We will hopefully be registering soon. Maybe you can help get Aaron motivated to work on some stuff?

Your Body - If this is your first pregnancy, you're probably "popping out" right around now (subsequent pregnancies tend to show earlier). Your uterus, which will expand to 1,000 times its normal size by the time you deliver--one doctor describes it as turning "from a nectarine into a basketball"--is entering a growth spurt. And speaking of growth, you're probably gaining weight at the rate of about a pound a week. Somewhere between the 16th and 20th week, you'll feel something that you've been expecting but still can't quite believe: your baby's kicks. They won't be solid football kicks (that comes later); you may mistake them for stomach rumblings or even indigestion. Moms-to-be describe the feeling as "fluttery," like "butterflies" or "angel's wings." Technically, it's known as quickening. Each baby's kicking pattern (like the rest of her) is unique. Some kick almost incessantly, while others offer a gentle tap now and then, as if to say, "Don't worry, I'm here!"
