Rash
Here are some pictures of Olivia's rash Wednesday morning. The doctor assured us that in 2-3 days it would be gone... it is the worse on her legs. The last picture of her bed head is priceless.... she looks so tired and worn out!
Was it Rosiola (spelling?) that she had? Every baby that I know of has had it. It's just one of those childhood viruses. Ava & Ember both got it and it ends with a rash.....but then again I know they can get rashes once their fever breaks too....
Noah still gets this on his arms and legs sometimes and he's 4. He also gets a rash on his chest if I put vapo-rub on it! He's so sensitive... and has allergies like his mommy.
I guess I will tell you about the Benadryl thing here! My sister was told by her pediatrician to give her 2yr old a dose of Benadryl every night for one week to help him fall asleep and stay asleep. Then she gave him 1/2tsp (half the dose) for another week. The next week he received no Benadryl and was able to fall asleep on his own. I think he had a relapse about a year later so they did it again and once again he is sleeping on his own through the night.
I would talk to your pediatrician about it before trying it on your own. This was a last resort. I also recommend "On Becoming Babywise" to get kids on a great sleep routine. That's what I did with mine and they both sleep really well, including naps (well Noah doesn't nap anymore, but he used to).
