Daycare Cost

When I arrived at daycare today to pick up Olivia, there is a spot for notices, newletters, announcements and so on and there was a letter from the owners.

EFFECTIVE AUGUST 25TH the prices are going UP to $116.00 a week. Which comes out to around $3.90 an hour since Olivia is only there around 30 hours a week. I am going to have to ask if the prices go up on a regular basis or if it like once every 3 years. I can't afford to keep paying more and more. It is only $8. a week but still, if it is on a regular basis this could be hard. They have the option to pay part time rates which equal $28. a day with paying a minimum of 3 days = $84.00. With me working 4 days a week and Aaron getting an average of 2 days off a week, we might move toward part time. A talk we'll probably have at dinner Friday.

Here is the breakdown of their costs:

FULL-TIME:
Age 6 weeks - 3 years
1 Child - $116.00 per week
2 Children - $197.00 per week (YIKES)
3 Children - $247.00 per week
4 Children - $311.00 per week (Is this possible?)

Age 3 years - Kindergarten/Preschool
$109.00 per week

Age: Kindergarten
$90.00 per week

Age: School Age
$45.00 per week

PART-TIME:
All Ages:
1 Child - $28.00 a day
2 Children - $49.00 a day
3 Children - $62.00 a day
4 Children - $78.00 a day

Preschool
$103.00 per month (plus $1.85 /day for lunch)

I'd hate to move her anywhere, I LOVE IT THERE! Something we'll have to look at if prices keep going up and in a couple years when we think of having another baby.... it is expensive!!
